Random Fact #1:
Lisa Leslie, former WNBA superstar, once scored 101 points in a high school basketball game. 100 points in any basketball game is unbelievable. It has only happened once in the entire history of the NBA. Yet Wikipedia had another surprise for me...
SHE ONLY PLAYED FOR THE FIRST HALF.
That's right. She scored a lazy 101 and then went for a little sit down.
But again, wikipedia astounded me even further...
The final score for the game was 102-24.
This raises a few questions....
- Were the players of the two teams involved made out of:
- a) Lettuce
- b) Cardboard
- c) Playdough
- d) Lego
- The 24 points scored by the other team were due to:
- a) Lowering the rings
- b) Gimme's (hitting the backboard counts doesn't it?)
- c) Flubber
- Lisa Leslie's team mates only scored one point for the entire second half because:
- a) They set up deck chairs in the keyway and passed around a bong
- b) They kept passing to Lisa Leslie; While she was on the bench
Honestly, how the hell does a team only score 1 point in an entire half? AND how does the team that was getting pounded only score 24 for the entire game, when the only girl capable of blocking shots was on the bench??
Check it out this is all legit:
